(2022/09 Hokkaido) I climbed Mt. Asahidake (2,291 m), with my friend Wu and some lab members. This mountain is the highest one in Hokkaido. We started at an elevation of 1,600 m, and the round trip took about five hours. We enjoyed Japan’s earliest autumn scenery, as Hokkaido enters autumn earlier than the rest of the country.
- (2021/08 Hokkaido) This was my first time climbing a mountain—Mt. Rishiri (1721 m). We started from near sea level and hiked all the way to the summit. The round trip took 12 hours. It was both joyful and exhausting. This hike was deeply meaningful to me. It marked my first true experience of loving mountains, shared with my friend Wu.
- (2023/10 Matsushima) I visited Matsushima. I love the manga <Honey and clover>. The hero rode a bicycle from Tokyo, and pass by Matsushima. So, I am intestered in this place.
